2005	Promotionsstudiengang an der Universität Koblenz-Landau. Promotion mit der Arbeit: Grundlegungen der Bewusstseinsforschung bei Edmund Husserl und Daniel Dennett
2007-2014	wissenschaftlicher Assistent am Lehrstuhl für Theoretische Philosophie an der Friedrich-Schiller Universität Jena.
2015	Habilitation an der FSU-Jena mit einer Arbeit zur Willensfreiheit
