The Marsilius Kolleg is named after Marsilius von Inghen, the founding rector of Heidelberg University (1386). As a teacher of theology as well as of the “Artes Liberales” he embodies the concept of the universitas litterarum, as was common in the mediaeval times. More information.
The domicile of the Marsilius Kolleg is the “House Buhl”, a baroque palais owned by an independent foundation of Heidelberg University. More information.
